Dietary Restrictions

I received NO dietary restrictions from anyone except one woman who just registered today. If you have restrictions please email me asap. If you do have restrictions BUT will eat seafood, let me know that too. If you are Vegan, there will probably be a soup as part of the lunch but you will probably do better bringing your own food. The Vegan fare from last year was sparse.

Supplies for the Maine Event

All of the workshops/demonstrations have no material fees associated with it except the Paverpol Bowl

The materials are a bit pricey but learning to use Paverpol could open so many possibilities, from single surface papers to three layered quilts! Here is what Michele O'Neil Kincaid has to say about her workshop:

Leaf Bowls with Paverpol

This class will introduce you to a product I am having a ball, or bowl, with!  It is a fabric hardener that works as an adhesive also, for instance, if you're making a plaque on wood it WILL stick!  It will NOT stick to plastic.  I've played with fabric, paper, fibers, and 3 layer quilts and it is cool. This project will be 'leaves', make them ahead of class in any technique you like, even paper, raw edge, turned two fabric, turned 3 layer 'quilt' etc.  You may add stitching, embellishments, whatever.  We will dip the leaves and shape them over a bowl covered with plastic wrap and let them dry overnight.  You can rhen take them home and varnish or finish however you like.  We'll also play with strips of fabric and fibers to make garden art.  Bring 'stuff' to experiment with: bubble wrap, plastic grocery bags (for support); paper, excelcior(? curly brown papre packing) cord, found objects...

Here is the supply list for

Festival of the Arts, Main Street, Jeffersonville, VT

Join us, August 10, 2013, for the 5th Annual Festival of The Arts!  Rain or shine!

The Cambridge Arts Council has supported the arts in our local community for years. In 2009, we decided that our local art galleries, artists, and musicians needed to be showcased. Thus, the Festival of the Arts was born.

Our goal for this festival is to keep it close to home by supporting our local artists, musicians and restaurants.

We are excited to have the festival in our town of Jeffersonville and hope that you will come and join us on Main Street in August.

Saturday, August 10th

10:00am - 4:00pm

Presented by The Cambridge Arts Council & The Smugglers’ Notch Area Chamber of Commerce

This is a very family friendly event and a great chance to check out some of the great art work in the area. I have some new things to display and would love to have you stop by.
